Day Trip to Ouzoud Falls from Marrakech

Discover the impressive Ouzoud falls, during this day trip. Ouzoud waterfalls are one of the most popular and spectacular wonders in Morocco, and also the second highest waterfall in Africa at 110 m height. Firstly, we will pick you up, then head to the waterfalls about 160 km away from Marrakech. After that we reach Ouzoud falls, then explore the area, and also enjoy the various activities with the locals.

Finally, we return to Marrakech in the afternoon.

Departure from your accommodation in the morning at 8:00 am in Marrakech. Then drive 3 hours through the spectacular Atlas Mountains. The falls are located north of Marrakech, in the village of Tanaghmeilt. On our way to Ouzoud waterfalls, we will drive past vast fields of olive trees as we get closer. The falls will become visible from the distance- this view alone is rather spectacular!

When we arrive to Ouzoud falls, you will notice that the walking paths extend up towards the falls and down around the water streams below. You can also go for a swim in the natural swimming pools of the Ouzoud Cascade. Or if you are brave enough, you can join the locals and jump off the high cliffs into the water. After a pleasant morning, free time for a Moroccan lunch at your leisure in one of the local cafes or restaurants. Situated in the sheltering bosom of the Ouzoud Falls.

Thereafter, you can go back to the top of the falls. You might possibly come across families of monkeys accustomed to tourists. Who will welcome you in their own way!

Finally, your day trip to the Ouzoud waterfalls will end in Marrakech. The driver will drop you off at your hotel or Riad in Marrakech in the afternoon.
