After that enjoy the camel trekking in sand dunes And also contemplate the magical sunset and sunrise in the Sahara. As well as spending the night in the desert camp. Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Agdez – Zagora ( 6h Drive )

We start the 2 day Zagora desert tour from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech early morning. Then, drive through Tizi N-tichka pass ( 2260 m. alt ), and through various Berber villages. Different stops will be made along the way, to enjoy the panoramic views. We arrive to Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah, enjoy a short hike of the beautiful world heritage site. The Kasbah used as set for various Hollywood epics, like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. In addition to TV series such as Game of Thrones.

After lunch in either Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou or further in Ouarrzazate. We drive through the Anti Atlas Mountains, the Berber Villages, and along the Draa Valley. Draa Valley is considered the largest palm plantation and also the longest river in Morocco. Finally, we arrive Zagora in the afternoon, you go for a camel trek, on Zagora desert. Watch the spectacular sunset, before you continue to your Sahara desert camp. Where you will enjoy a Moroccan dinner, along with drums entertainment under open sky of shiny stars.

Day 2: Zagora to Marrakech (5.5h Drive)

After an early wake up for a camel ride over the dunes to contemplate the magical sunrise, and a warm Moroccan breakfast. We depart to Ouarzazate ”The Gate Of The Desert”. Where we visit the Taourirt Kasbah, and also the studios where famous movies were shot. Then continue our way back to Marrakech, through Tizi Ntichka pass and the High Atlas mountains.
Finally, your 2 days Zagora desert tour will end by a drop off at your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech.

Is the Tour Private or Shared ?

The Tent at the luxury camp is private, and has private bathrooms with hot running water.

How Long is The Camel Ride ?

The Camel ride is 40 minutes to 1.5 hours long, depending on which camp you are staying in.

What is the Alternative of Camels ?

* If you do not wish to do the camel ride, the camp has a 4×4 that takes people and luggage in and out of the camp, that you can use.

* Alternatively, ATVs can be arranged at an additional cost.

What Happens to your luggage When you do the Camel Ride ?

During the Camel Ride, you will only take what’s necessary for the Ride.

The rest of your luggage will be transported in the camp’s 4×4, and you will find it waiting for you at the camp.

What Type of Vehicles are Used ?

The Vehicle will be either a SUV (4×4) or a Minivan, both with A/C

While our vehicles are new and comfortable, and we make regular stops along the way, if you are not used to this level of travel, you may wish to consider a longer tour, such as our 5 Days From Marrakech to Merzouga, to reduce the duration of daily driving.

Pick-up and Drop-off Details

The meeting point for the tour is at 8:30 a.m. at any location within Marrakech. If your Riad is accessible by car, we will pick you up directly from there. In case of accessibility issues, we will pick you up from the nearest accessible road point. This can be arranged upon confirmation of your booking.

At the end of the tour, we will drop you off at your hotel or Riad in Marrakech, or the closest available parking lot. The tour typically concludes between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in Marrakesh, but the exact duration may vary depending on the time spent at each location.

Expenses
